About Me

A little about me…

I am an adult & child psychologist in Galway. I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and a Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

I have worked in Scotland for five years prior to moving back to Ireland where I worked within the NHS in Derry. In September 2021 I opened my own practice in Galway City where I offer face to face counselling in Galway, as well as offering online counselling to clients from all over the U.K. & Ireland. This practice has now expanded to include Educational & Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists & Psychological Therapists.

Across my career I have worked in a variety of mental health teams, including working within secondary and higher education colleges, third sector organisations and the National Health Service (NHS). I am passionate about working with children and young people and have a particular interest in working systemically with families in conflict.

I have worked extensively with individuals who have experienced trauma of various natures and have a passion for providing evidence based psychological therapy to survivors of abuse.

As a Counselling Psychologist I am trained in Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. I also have experience working with parental alienation, reunification therapy and family based therapy.
