What is included in this Course?
Week 1
This is an introduction to the course where we look at the signs & symptoms of anxiety .
Week 2
I will introduce you to the CBT model of anxiety & illustrate some real life examples of anxiety.
Week 3
We delve into Negative Automatic Thoughts, Biased expectations & unhelpful thought patterns and consider their impact on our anxiety.
Week 4
This week brings our attention to our anxious behaviours including avoidance & safety behaviours. We consider how these behaviours can maintain our anxiety.
Week 5
We look at the physical symptoms of anxiety, the role of our fight/flight response and how to manage physical symptoms.
Week 6
Our focus shifts to understanding panic attacks
Week 7
We pay attention to worry and its role in maintaining anxiety
Week 8
Having looked at different elements in detail we bring these together in week 8 to consider how to challenge anxious thoughts & behaviours
Week 9
We consider the impact of communication styles on our anxiety
Week 10
We reflect on a range of information delivered during the course, offer some conclusions & feedback any questions from the course (This video is tailored to each group)

Anyone over the age of 16 experiencing anxiety
Anyone over the age of 16 who wishes to support someone with anxiety
Parents of Children with anxiety who may wish to understand anxiety better
Teachers who may wish to understand anxiety experienced by their students
