Blogbites: Do you!

We are into the second week in January and it can be a difficult time of year for a lot of people. Perhaps you have given up on the New Years resolution or are struggling getting back to work after the Christmas break. Perhaps like many you didn’t even have a Christmas break.

.
Social media is covered in posts about ‘new year-new you’. The shops are ready to kit us all out in the latest gym gear, and many of us can feel overwhelmed with pressure to make changes.
.
.
This post has none of that! It’s a reminder that amongst all the messages encouraging change, I suggest we all just breathe. How about instead of starting off the year trying to change, we start the year by staying as we are? Instead of pushing for big changes, how about we take a look and see where we are, how far we have come and evaluate IF we want to make changes. Rather than jumping head first into every New Years resolution and challenge you are presented with, you take some time to prepare for changes you might want to make. More importantly, take a moment to stop and see all the things you are already doing and appreciate that who you are right now is all you ever have to be 🧡
